Meet Genevieve Perlis

I'm Genevieve Perlis, a Realtor® with The BE MORE Group at Levin Rinke Realty, helping buyers and sellers across Northwest Florida. I work throughout Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Perdido Key, Pace, Milton, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach and Destin.

I come from a military family and have called Florida's Gulf Coast home since 2007. I understand what military families are juggling when orders come in, and I help clients PCSing to NAS Pensacola, Corry Station, Whiting Field, Eglin AFB or Hurlburt Field, along with anyone ready to put down roots on the Emerald Coast.
Before real estate, I built my career in car sales and d2d sales. There I learned to listen first, explain financing in plain English, and negotiate hard for my clients. I make sure no one walks away from a big purchase feeling pressured or confused, and now I use those skills on the biggest purchase of your life.

Who can use a VA loan?

Eligible veterans, active-duty service members, some National Guard and Reserve members, and certain surviving spouses can qualify. Your lender can help you get your Certificate of Eligibility. Many eligible buyers can purchase with no down payment.

How early should I start house hunting before a PCS?
As soon as you have orders, or even know they're coming. Getting pre-approved early and learning the neighborhoods ahead of time puts you in a much stronger position once you're ready to make an offer.

Which area is best for my base?

It depends on your commute, budget and lifestyle. Families stationed at NAS Pensacola and Corry Station often look in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Perdido Key. Whiting Field families often choose Milton and Pace. Navarre, Fort Walton Beach and Destin are popular with those stationed at Hurlburt Field and Eglin AFB.
